Our men’s laptop bags, duffles, backpacks and sling bags are made from premium cowhide leather in our South African workshop. Traditional shapes, practical interiors and the attention to detail that makes a bag worth keeping.

Every bag is made to order. Choose any leather colour from our range at no extra colour-change charge. Select a listed swatch, or WhatsApp us with the bag name and your preferred colour before ordering if it isn’t shown.

For a colour outside our range, we can explore sourcing leather through our custom-made service.

It starts with the leather.

Blue, black and brown leather hides rolled in the Charles Lansdown workshop

Colour, grain and character give each hide its own appeal. We select the leather around the piece and its finish, then our leatherworkers cut, assemble, stitch and finish it with care. Natural markings and variations are part of what makes each piece individual.

Make it personal.

A name, initials, date or meaningful message can make your bag personal. Engraving is arranged by enquiry so we can consider position, scale and leather finish with you. Send your idea or reference image and we’ll confirm the artwork and price before making.

Made by us. Made to protect.

We make our dust bags ourselves, finishing each with a blue plaque bearing our gold-foiled logo. They give your leather bag a considered presentation and help keep it covered and protected between outings—a finishing touch that stays useful for years to come.

A few useful answers.

Bag engraving is arranged by enquiry. Share the name, initials, message or artwork you have in mind and we’ll confirm a suitable position, size and price before making.

Our bags come with a protective dust bag made by our team, finished with a blue plaque and gold-foiled logo. Keep it for storage between outings.

Check the product’s Dimensions dropdown and compare them with what you carry. For a laptop or device, measure its actual width, height and depth, including any case. Ask us if you need help checking the fit.

Making time and courier transit are separate. Please see our making and delivery guidance for current estimates. If you need your order by a particular date, contact us with the item and your delivery town before ordering.

You can enquire about any colour in our current leather range, even if it is not listed for this item. Choosing a colour from that range carries no extra colour charge. A colour that needs specially sourced leather is quoted as a custom request.

Use a soft, dry cloth for everyday care and avoid soaking the leather or drying it with direct heat. Store it somewhere dry and ventilated, using the dust bag between outings. Please ask us before applying cleaners or conditioners, as finishes can need different care.
